Why Hawthorn Berry Is a Key to Better Heart Health

The Hawthorn berry is a tree fruit known for improving heart function. Science supports its use for heart issues. The recommended dose is between 160 and 500 mg per day. Do not take it for more than 150 days in a row. Always consult your doctor before using any natural supplement, especially if you take medications. For example, combining Hawthorn with high blood pressure medication could cause your blood pressure to drop too low.

Most people tolerate Hawthorn in small doses. However, it is a strong berry with powerful benefits for adults. Do not give it to children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women.

Hawthorn has been studied for centuries. It can reduce blood fats, lower cholesterol, and help prevent artery narrowing. It also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Recent research, including studies from 2020, suggests it may aid people with diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers.
