Kidneys Need Oxygen

NSAIDs block prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are natural chemicals produced to dilate blood vessels and helps oxygen to reach the kidneys. Without proper oxygen reaching the kidneys they will not stay healthy. NSAIDs cause fluid retention which decreases blood flow to your kidneys.

It is extremely important for those suffering from kidney issues to stay away from NSAIDs. What is a “NSAID”? It is a pain reliever that is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
