Are there medications that promote the body to become cancerous? The answer is yes. When the insert that comes with a medication has a black box warning which states,
“Counsel patients regarding the potential risk for MTC (Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma or Medullary Thyroid Cancer) with the use of semaglutide and inform them of symptoms of thyroid tumors (e.g., a mass in the neck, dysphagia (difficulty or pain when swallowing), dyspnea, persistent hoarseness)….” Other medications carry different black box warnings. When the outcome to a person is the potential risk of developing cancer of any kind, that information should be advertised loud and clear. Especially since the medical and pharmaceutical powers claim there is no cure for cancer.
Why not use the word “warn” instead of “counsel”. Warn is a much stronger word when trying to convey danger. While the word counsel indicates it is not severe. When the user develops cancer cells it will be severe to them.
Part of the Box Warning as recorded in the National Library of Medicine states, “. . .This aspect may become more apparent as more data on this medication become available over the next few years. . .” The humans taking the medicine are the lab testing animals.
